Some of your Questions:

Q. How much does a house cleaning service cost?

Every house is unique, and every house cleaning fee is based on the individual house and the family's needs. Elements that will affect your house cleaning estimate include the size of your home, number of residents, number of pets, number of bathrooms, desired frequency of house cleaning, etc. This large number of variables is the main reason why we start with scheduling the free estimate. At the same time, this is the best way to provide the most accurate cleaning quote. Generally, the first house cleaning visit costs more than subsequent visits because it takes additional cleaning time to get the home up to our house cleaning standards. Your estimate for the house cleaning service will be expressed as a flat fee, so there are no surprises at the end of the cleaning that you have to pay more than expected. During our visit, you will receive an estimate for both the initial cleaning and the regular house cleaning visits up front.

Q. Do I have to be home during the house cleaning?

This is your option. You may give us a key or hide it in a secure area. You could also be home. We leave this up to you.

Q. What if I need to reschedule my house cleaning appointment?

Simply call us prior to your cleaning day. It's customary that you provide us with a minimum 48 hours notice to reschedule your house cleaning. Unlike the airlines, we do not overbook our schedule, so if you need to reschedule a cleaning without proper notice, we will not have enough opportunity to fill the schedule with another maid service client. This decreases the maids' pay, and without consistent wages, we cannot retain the best maids to clean for you. Thus, respecting the 48-hr cancellation notice helps ensure you will get the best house cleaning service possible.

Q. What should I do about my alarm/security system during the house cleaning day?

If you have a security system, please make necessary arrangements to give us the access to your home on your scheduled day. Some clients establish a guest or temporary code and some provide us with their permanent code. We will work with whatever makes you comfortable.

Q. What should I do with my pets during the house cleaning day?

Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, we prefer pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, so our maids can focus 100% on the house cleaning. Also, it helps with efficiency and reduces the risk of your pets being afraid and attempting to get out of the house.

Q. How should I pay for the house cleaning?

You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. Payment is due at the time of service, unless arranged otherwise. If you do not intend to be at home during the cleaning, you may choose to either leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter the morning of your house cleaning or pay online via our website by clicking "PAY ONLINE" on the home page. A $30.00 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

Q. Do I need to provide my own cleaning products and equipment?

We provide all necessary house cleaning supplies and equipment. If you have special house cleaning products you want to use, please be sure to discuss it at the estimate, so that we can properly follow your request.

Q. Should I tip the house cleaning professionals?

While tipping is left to your discretion, we feel it's customary to tip their professional house cleaner if they provide excellent service. It's customary to tip servers at a restaurant, hair stylists, bellboys...the list goes on. A professional home cleaner is also providing a highly personalized service deserving a gratuity.
Professional house cleaners work extremely hard. Their job is physically demanding. There's no better way to say thank you for hard work than a tip. While it's customary to tip a food server 15%-20% of the total bill, the average tip for a professional house cleaner is 10%-15%. If you have a regular house cleaner, it's usually customary to provide a larger tip around the year-end holidays. If you choose to provide a tip, we recommend leaving the gratuity in the middle of your kitchen counter along with a note. For most house cleaners, there's nothing more rewarding than getting a thank you in the form of some extra cash. Not only do they appreciate it, it's an important part of their income and truly improves their lives.

Q. How can I provide feedback on the house cleaning service?

The best way is to call Kathy (the owner) directly at (951) 898-7575 or (714) 632-7605. Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, it's extremely important for us to get your feedback ASAP, so we can quickly adjust to your style.
